Your MAVNI adjustment of status should cover your family, so they should be adjusting with you. You do not need to or have to send them to your home country.

Hi, guys,
I'm having a little trouble with counting the years of experience for my EB2 petition. My attorney said I can only count the number of years I worked before joining the current sponsoring company!! The situation is, I jointed this company in Jan 2004. But my petition (Labor) appliction only started at the end of 2006. My attorney says that the three years of working experience (04, 05 & 06) can not be counted!
Is he correct on this?

Friends,
I have had my GC for about two and a half months now. I am currently checking out SOA consultant positions with a consultancy in Saudi Arabia. I don't know the length of the contracts yet. Can I work out of USA and still apply for Citizenship after the wait of 4 years and 9 months ? Does this require me to stay a certain amount of time in USA for every year ? What are the tax implications ? Would I have to file taxes on the income that I earned out of USA ? Thank you.

i transferred from one dept to another. the next dept filed for a H1B amend after 4 months. The lawyers filled in my G325 with the earlier, start date (and not the later filing date).

To everyone who reads my post. I apologize for not being clear. The article says that they are talking about eliminating the per country caps and giving green cards to STEM graduates. In my haste and excitement I should have spelled this out. Now with that said I do not appreciate the snide remark from the previous poster. Your GC is future job based, if your current company agrees to sponsor your paperwork even after you do H-1 transfer then you might be able to pull it off. Otherwise it is i agree in the trash can.
